A: Generation One, Captain needed someone loud and passionate to become a drummer. See above, I was perfect for the role 😉

Q: Remember your first race?
A: I remember our first major final at our first ever event screaming to the finishline, causing a frenzy of paddling that nearly capsized us but we luckily balanced it out to 2nd place. What a rush!

Q: …and your first dunk?
A: Yeah the bunch of wusses that call themselves Men could not ungrip me from the side railings to dunk me in. I gave up fighting from boredom and let them chuck me in! Wusses!

Q: Why do you think you are still paddling for the Windy Pandas?
A: It’s an amazing feeling to be a part of something as great as the Pandas. Theres nothing like the bonding, teamwork and Fun

A: 5 years on….thats pretty damn successful!

Q: Back to your role this season. Why did you decide to take up the Vice Captain role?
A: Once Cappy reassured me the role wasnt as daunting as initially thought and reminding me that my Love for Pandas was good enough reason as any to become Vice, I was happy to come on board and spread my Love around!

A: Passion, Excitement, Competitiveness and a little bit of Craaaazzzy!

Q: Tell me about the worst moment of your WP career?

I was well upset and even cried…what a baby lol. Hey its passion ;p Looking back I thought I was better than I was but he made the right decision…..well maybe ;p

Q: ..and the best?
A: The elation I felt winning our first race in Year 4! Paddling our hearts out passing the finish line and turning back to check we were the first…that moment was priceless. I lost my voice screaming and cheering!
