It’s been a while, but the Interviews are back! We have asked a G10 recruit some questions and this week, its Nick “The Penetrator” Tran’s turn. How did he came to join the team, what are his likes and dislikes of DB and what is his most embarrassing moment? Read more to find out.
Q1. How did you get to join the Windy Pandas?
It was on a breezy summers evening at the Tran family household. My lovely sister natalie was entertaining her friends Cheryl and Joey where discussions led to dragonboating. They recalled their mighty triumphs in partying hard, oh and winning trophies! From then on, I knew I was sold. I had to join!
Q2. Whats your nickname and how did you come about?
The Penetrator – I will say no more.
Q3. What is your favourite part of Dragon Boating?
Teamwork, socialising and winning! Oh and watching the late tax punishments!
Q4. And the worst part of Dragon Boating?
Getting up on early on a Saturday!
Q5. If you had to bring 3 items to a deserted island, what items would you bring?
Helicopter, water and food.
Q6. Who is childhood celebrity crush?
It’s Britney b**ch!
Q7. What is your favourite food and why?
Bun thit nuong – meaty, refreshing and healthy!
Q8. What is your favourite genre of music and why do you prefer it?
Hip Hop – the wordplay. Lupe fiasco, j. Cole, Chance the rapper, Childish Gambino. These artists rap with lyrical genius and flow about so many different issues in life.

Q10. What is your most embarrassing moment? (Kid friendly please)
Being so drunk that I was the first one on the dance floor. Everybody started filming me dancing…. Badly! Not quite sure how I got into the bar!
