Please welcome Leanne ‘The Hulk’ Cheung to the Windy Pandas!
Another great and enthusiastic addition to the team and introduced by none other than our captain – Vo Su xD (actually through Christine first!)
Q: How did you find out about the Windy Pandas?
A: Saw a beauty pageant campaign for the best looking ones thinking it was going to be an easy win! But nope, all the Pandas are too good looking.
Q: What have been your likes and dislikes about Dragonboating so far?
A: The likes are the socials and being part of the panda family.
The dislikes are not getting panda cookies/cakes on a regular basis!
Q: What has been your favourite holiday?
A: I haven’t been on holiday with the pandas yet but my favourite holiday was when my family from UK, Australia and other parts of America gathered up in LA and we went on a road-trip to Vegas and San Diego. There were lots of people, lots of fun and lots of laughter – and it’s what I’m expecting on a panda holiday!
Q: If you can have dinner with 3 famous people, alive or dead, who would they be and why?
A: 1. Emma Watson – She’s clever, classy and super talented
2. Chris Evans as Captain America – an eyeful! But I probably won’t know what I’m having for dinner
3. And lastly, the Queen… I wonder how ‘normal’ she actually is
Q: Whats your best movie and worst?
A: Best – Despicable Me!
Worse – Narnia … Very disappointed because it felt nothing like when I read the book
Q: Explain your nickname? How did it come about
A: I had a nephew on its way and my brother couldn’t think of a name for him so we nicknamed him ‘Babyhulk’ and somehow it got transferred to me. Hulk smashhhhh!
Q: What is your favourite quote (if any)
A: “Live the life you love, love the life you live”
Q: What do you miss most about being a kid?
A: I miss the school life and those long school holidays! They were the easy, carefree days!
Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Some say… I am a happy one; a dainty one; but also one who eats too much – but I’m working on it!
Q: When is your birthday and can you swim?
A: 30 November (it’s out of padding season so no dunking!) and yes I can swim
Q: Last question – Are you any good at running? (yes/no)
A: Nooo… (No I don’t Alam!)
