DRAGON BOAT RACING INTERNATIONALLY
Dragon boat racing is part of the Panda DNA. The Pandas have competed in numerous dragon boat racing events over the years. They include Bewl Water, Chinatown Lions, London Rotary and Kingston Rotary. The Pandas even travelled to the Far East and competed in Hong Kong at the Stanley Dragon Boat Championships! More recently, we travelled to Alicante Spain to compete which was super fun.

Racing abroad is one aspect, however we do compete in many inter national events based in the UK. Some notable events are:

Come join the Windy Pandas whether you are a social or experienced paddler, we welcome you to our family! All events tend to be hosted by the BDA, which is renowned association here in the UK.
Windy Pandas train every week with sessions happening twice a week. Typically on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s at London Regatta Centre. Moreover, the nearest station is Royal Albert DLR but it is less than 5 minutes walk to the training center. In addition, Windy Panda's offer Annual Membership and ‘Pay As You Go’ sessions. The team compete regularly throughout the year at a number of events and many of social events to offer.
You will probably recognise our distinctive red kits. As part of the Panda fun, we assign a nickname to their kits to add some personality to everyone on the team. Additionally, Dragon boating is a great way to keep fit and meet new people. Moreover, dragon boating allows us to compete against other top tier dragon boat teams in the country. Above all, regular travel to international events is what the Pandas are all about. Meeting new Dragon Boating teams and a great way to enjoy a group holiday.
