TRAIN WITH WINDY PANDAS
Whether you are a novice who know nothing about dragon boating, or an experienced paddler who need some extra training sessions - Windy Pandas have it all! Come train with Windy Pandas today. We are located only 5 mins walk away from Royal Albert DLR station right by London City airport. We also have a variety of restaurants and cafes around the area for after training.
Windy Pandas twice a week, typically on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s at the London Regatta Centre. The nearest station is Royal Albert DLR, which is less than 5 minutes walk to the training centre. In addition, Windy Panda's offer Annual Membership and ‘Pay As You Go’ sessions. The team compete regularly throughout the year at a number of events both internationally and locally.
You will recognise our distinctive red kits. As part of the Panda fun, we assign a nickname to our kits to add some personality to everyone. Dragon boating is a great way to keep fit and meet new people. Additionally, dragon boating allow us to compete against other top tier dragon boat teams in the country. In order to compete in style, our kit's are important to us to stand out in the crowd!
If you would like to give dragon boating a try, please contact us via email on windypandasdb@gmail.com. In addition, first training is free and everything will be provided along with changing rooms, shower facilities.
WHAT TO BRING TO TRAINING
BRING YOURSELF
Experience a team sport like no other. Dragon boating fully utilises core muscles in your body. For the training sessions, there is no need to bring paddles or life jackets as we will supply on the day. Do come along to train with Windy Pandas for an enjoyable experience!
THE RIGHT CLOTHING
Before you attend our sessions, please bring appropriate clothing to paddle in i.e. what you’d wear to the gym. Ideally, some old trainers or water shoes/crocs/flip flops. But also bring additional clothes to change after a nice refreshing shower.
GET READY FOR DIMSUM
A must have tradition where the Panda's are spoilt to have Chinese restaurant Yi-Ban right next to the club! It's a fantastic way for us to warm down and a perfect way to bond even more after training!

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Nearest station is Royal Albert DLR. You can change onto the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from the underground at Canning Town (interchange with the Jubilee Line). Similarly at Shadwell (interchange with London Overground). Or even Bank (interchange with the Central, Northern and Waterloo and City Lines). Most importantly, use the TFL journey planner for the best route!
